Discrimination
Reports involving alleged racial bias, disparate treatment or barriers that may affect people differently.
StopJimCrow.org exists to give people a place to document their experiences, raise concerns about unfair treatment, and call for transparency and accountability when institutions or government systems appear to treat people differently.
StopJimCrow.org is an independent community-focused platform dedicated to bringing attention to concerns about discrimination, racial bias, unequal treatment, selective enforcement, retaliation and barriers to fair treatment. We believe every person deserves dignity, due process and equal protection under the law.
We provide a place for community members to share experiences they believe deserve attention.
We encourage people to preserve records, notices, photographs, correspondence and other evidence.
Serious claims should be examined through facts, records and fair comparisons—not assumptions.
Government and institutions should be transparent, consistent and accountable for their decisions.
The name StopJimCrow.org reflects our opposition to systems and practices that result in racial discrimination or unequal treatment. Modern discrimination may not always look like the laws and signs of the past. Concerns can arise through housing, enforcement, access to services, government decisions and other systems that affect people's everyday lives.
Our mission is to encourage people to speak up, preserve evidence, ask questions and seek fair review when they believe they have been treated differently because of race or other improper considerations.
